Coming after launch Smart-lock codes are being built now and will arrive after the first release. It’s off unless you turn it on, property by property.
A code for each stay
A fresh code that works from check-in to checkout, then stops. No more one code shared by every guest all year.
A code for each job
When NightKeeper sends your plumber at 3 a.m., the plumber gets a code that works for that job’s window only, and it’s switched off when the job is closed.
Who came and went
Each door entry is tied to the stay or the job: “Plumber, front door, 2:14 a.m., leak job.” Handy when a bill or a dispute comes in later.
On or off, per property
You choose which properties use it and who can get a code. Turn it off and your own way of handing out codes stays as it is.
Good to know
- Codes go only to the guest, vendor or cleaner you’ve approved, and only for their window.
- The AI never reads a door code out on a call.
- No smart lock? Nothing changes. Lockouts go to your check-in message and your local contact, as they do today, and no code is sent.
- We’ll publish the list of supported lock brands before this feature turns on.
- If you already have your guest codes handled another way, you’ll be able to use NightKeeper for vendor and cleaner codes only.
